FAQs
The following is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) of interest to both the public and the current residents. More detail is provided in the documents included in this website and the paper copy of “The Greens Townhome Documents” distributed to each resident. Residents are encouraged to submit additional FAQs to the board for possible inclusion.
Does The Greens have a Home Owners Association (HOA)?
Yes. The HOA Board is elected each year at the annual meeting. The Board consists of seven members including the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Each member is assigned one of more areas of responsibility such as building maintenance or irrigation. Residents are encouraged to serve on the Board and to assist members in their assigned responsibilities.
What are the HOA fees and what do they cover?
For 2024, the HOA fee is $310 per month. Effective January 1, 2025, the HOA fee is $325/month. Coverage includes exterior building maintenance (siding, roof, etc), yard care (mowing, fertilizing, trees, and shrubbery), insurance for exterior buildings and the Common areas, retaining walls, sprinklers, streets and driveways, and snow removal of snowfall of two or more inches. What are the owner responsibilities?
Owner responsibilities include maintenance of the interiors of their respective units, snow removal of less than two inches on the driveway and sidewalk, maintenance of the rocked areas around the perimeter of the building, and maintenance of doors and windows. What is the pet policy?
One or two pets not to exceed 20 pounds each are allowed provided that they are not kept, bred, or maintained for any commercial purpose. No kennels are allowed on the Common or Limited Commons areas.
